History / Scope:
Started in the late 1950's, Allsteel is a Canadian manufacturer of press
brakes, straight side presses, dish forming presses and hydro mechanical
shears. Allsteel also sells turret punches and lasers. Allsteel machines were
in the past manufactured for, and in partnership with Piranha Mfg. and private
labeled in the US market. Many machines are in the field that can be
accurately described as Allsteel machines, although they bear the Piranha
name.
