Marvel V10

Automatic Vertical Bandsaw

Variations: Marvel V10, Marvel V10A2, Marvel V10A2PC

Specific Information: The Marvel V10 was a small and compact fully automatic bandsawing machine. With manual mitering capabilities in one direction, this machine allowed users to get into an automatic machine for a smaller investment. The V10 line was discontinued about the same time the Armstrong-Blum company changed it's name to Marvel Manufacturing (Mid 2004).

Marvel V10A
The Marvel V10A was the introduction of cost effective production machines for smaller shops. With a 10" x 10" capacity, a 1" blade, lead screw length adjustment, and hydraulic feed and vises, this machine was a good fit for many shops.

The introduction of the V10A2 series in mid-1988 brought with it a machine not unlike the one before it. Again, some aesthetic changes to this machine allowed for a more current look. The capacity of this version was increased to 10" x 14". The blade speed changes were performed via an electric gear motor instead of a hand crank. The V10A2PC had the Marvel PCII controller for index bar length adjustment. Years of Mfg. (est.):
